Impact Networking Announces Entrepreneur and Cybersecurity Expert Wes Spencer as Keynote Speaker for Impact Optimize 2022

Impact Networking, a leading managed service provider (MSP), today announced entrepreneur and cybersecurity expert Wes Spencer as the third keynote speaker at their business technology conference Impact Optimize 2022. 

Impact Optimize enters its third year bringing together a community of leading industry executives and entrepreneurs for one day of networking, insights on the latest innovations in business and technology, forum and roundtable discussions, and keynote presentations. The summit will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Navy Pier in downtown Chicago.

Wes Spencer is a nationally recognized technology innovator and cybersecurity expert. He has served as a senior executive and advisor for companies from the Fortune 500 to funded startups and was recognized as the 2020 Cybersecurity Educator of the Year by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. He was the co-founder and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Perch Security. Spencer later moved to ConnectWise, serving as the vice president and external CISO, working alongside thousands of clients to help them survive and thrive in the cybersecurity wilderness. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Pro Publica, Dark Reading, and many other outlets.

Spencer’s keynote session will demystify why the cybersecurity threat landscape is constantly changing and break down what organizations of all sizes need to do to not just survive, but thrive, in the modern market. He will join previously announced keynote speakers Daniel Pink, a four-time New York Times bestselling author writing about business and success, and Orca Capital co-founders Jeff Sekinger and Austin Barnard. Pink’s keynote will share deep insight from his research on how to create a culture of innovation in a business while Sekinger and Barnard’s session will explore blockchain technology and the innovative changes it is creating for industries around the world.
