Alison Hall, an accounts payable specialist at Impact, has been named a nominee for The Cannata Report's 2026 Outstanding Veteran Award. Her profile appears in the publication's Veterans Way series.
Hall was nominated by Luke Oldenburg, technical operations center manager at Impact.
Hall served in the U.S. Navy Reserve for nine years, all with the Military Police at Naval Station Great Lakes. She held the rank of Master at Arms 2nd Class Petty Officer.
In the interview, Hall reflects on her time in service, including helping keep the public safe during Naval Station Great Lakes' July 4th celebrations. She credits the military with building the adaptability, discipline, consistency, and resilience she relies on in her work today.
She also offers advice for fellow veterans entering the civilian workforce. Her central recommendation is to translate military experience into terms civilian employers recognize, noting that a squad leader's role aligns closely with that of a team supervisor.
