Lake Forest, Illinois — February 23— Impact Networking, a leading managed service provider and technology solutions firm, today announced the appointment of Greg Ruggie to General Counsel, reflecting the company’s continued investment in strong leadership, governance, and strategic growth.
In his role as General Counsel, Ruggie will oversee Impact’s legal function, providing strategic counsel across corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and complex transactional matters. He will serve as a key member of the executive team and continue to act as a trusted advisor to leadership as the company expands its national footprint.
Ruggie brings more than a decade of legal experience spanning both transactional and litigation matters. During his tenure at Impact, he has played an integral role in supporting operations, strengthening internal processes, and aligning legal strategy with business objectives. His promotion recognizes a sustained record of leadership, sound judgment, and commitment to the company’s long-term success.

Ruggie earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Illinois. He is currently a candidate for a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at The George Washington University Law School, pursuing advanced studies in National Security and Cybersecurity Law. His academic focus reflects Impact’s ongoing emphasis on data protection, data privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging legal and regulatory challenges affecting modern organizations.
He is based at the company’s headquarters in Lake Forest, Illinois.
