Strategic Services Promotion Defines Solutions Architecture Team

Effective immediately, Jon Evans has been promoted to Director of Solutions Architecture reporting directly to the CTO of Impact Networking. In this new role, Jon will begin to build out a team of Solutions Architects in Impact’s major regions. This new team will work with the Strategic Services Branch Managers and other Impact specialists to ensure that any solution offered to a customer is implementable, scalable, and ultimately, matches the needs and vision of the customer. Jon’s team will provide the on-the-ground technical representation required for the Strategic Services team to sell more advanced solutions in the digital transformation and application space. Impact will also look to broaden the creativity and combined solution approach as offerings are expanded with ERP and other future services (IoT, Low Code, AI, etc.).

When Jon initially moved from the Marketing team to the Strategic Services team, he was the first Solutions Architect, and built out a role that previously did not exist. From there, Jon spent years working between the sales and development teams to make sure Account Managers were selling solutions that could be successfully implemented. Jon is drawn to entrepreneurial endeavors, and selecting him to lead this new team was the perfect choice.

His team will be a huge benefit to both pre- and post- sales teams by providing valuable technical knowledge and establishing trust with customers, along with accurate, quickly-delivered software specifications and scopes to the development team. The goal of this new team will be to more swiftly analyze, design, and help implement valuable solutions that will foster long-term customer relationships.

Jon would like to credit Frank DeGeorge, Impact CTO, for his continued mentorship and guidance in his career, as well as, his long-time best friend and emergency contact, Ron Ballard, Impact Strategic Services Development Manager.
