Business Technology Association Honors Kyocera Mita with 2003 Channel’s Choice Award
Kyocera Mita Scores Superior Performance Honor From the Independent Dealer Channel
Las Vegas, April 24, 2003—Kyocera Mita America, one of the world’s leading document imaging companies, was honored with a 2003 Channel’s Choice Award for Overall Superior Performance from the Business Technology Association (BTA) in its annual survey of dealers. Kyocera Mita received the Superior Performance Award for its strong overall performance in the four award categories, including corporate support, marketing distribution policy, product line and digital-connected products. Tony Pater, president of Kyocera Mita America was presented the award by Dennis Hunter, president of BTA and Bert Darling, executive director of BTA, during Kyocera Mita’s National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas on April 24.

This is the fourteenth year for the Channel’s Choice Award, formally known as BTA’s Manufacturer of the Year Award. The survey was sent out to 3,100 independent office technology dealers asking them to rate their primary and secondary original equipment manufacturers, including questions dealing with corporate support, marketing distribution, product line and digital-connected products. The survey includes 27 questions regarding OEM strengths and weaknesses that are used to evaluate the four performance categories.
