Kyocera Mita received the Superior Performance Award for its strong overall performance in the four award categories, including corporate support, marketing distribution policy, product line and digital-connected products. Tony Pater, president of Kyocera Mita America was presented the award by Dennis Hunter, president of BTA and Bert Darling, executive director of BTA, during Kyocera Mita’s National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas on April 24.

“Kyocera Mita is pleased to be recognized as an outstanding provider in the imaging solutions industry,” said Tony Pater, president, Kyocera Mita America. “This award truly shows the value and confidence that dealers have in Kyocera Mita’s products and solutions. Kyocera Mita will continue its dedication to the channel with the addition of several new dealer programs, e-Learning initiatives, a branding initiative, web initiatives and products – all to make it easier for our dealers to become even more successful.”

“Kyocera Mita has demonstrated its overall superior performance by scoring strongly in three of the four categories,” said Dennis Hunter, president of BTA. “Kyocera Mita’s superior products, solutions and industry leadership led to the BTA channel awarding them with such an honor. We congratulate Kyocera Mita and wish them continued success with their business and dealer network into the future.”

This is the fourteenth year for the Channel’s Choice Award, formally known as BTA’s Manufacturer of the Year Award. The survey was sent out to 3,100 independent office technology dealers asking them to rate their primary and secondary original equipment manufacturers, including questions dealing with corporate support, marketing distribution, product line and digital-connected products. The survey includes 27 questions regarding OEM strengths and weaknesses that are used to evaluate the four performance categories.
