Impact Signs Two New University Sales Partnerships
Recruitment team at Impact partners with Ball State University and California State University, Fullerton to expand recruiting efforts
Lake Forest, IL – The recruitment team at Impact, one of the nation’s fastest growing managed service providers, announced two new university sales partnerships with Ball State University in Muncie, IN and California State University, Fullerton in Fullerton, CA. These partnerships are monumental for Impact – the first official university partnership in California and the only university partnership in Indiana.
Kicking off for the 2018-2019 school year, Impact will officially partner with Ball State and Cal State Fullerton for recruiting purposes. These partnerships expand Impact’s recruiting efforts, introducing the brand to an untapped pool of potential candidates who are enrolled in the colleges’ sales and business programs. This gives Impact’s recruiting team several opportunities to interact with the students in a more intimate setting. Additional exposure includes prime placement at career fairs, networking events, in-classroom events, shadow days and more. The partnership with Ball State will also include an invitation to the school’s annual, regional Sales Competition that invites students from seven different regional universities enrolled in the sales and business program to compete in a series of sales related tests and challenges.
“We are really looking forward to the 2018-2019 recruitment season with our new partnerships at Ball State University and California State University, Fullerton,” said Impact’s Director of Recruiting, Cynthia Bennett. “The students at Ball State and Cal State Fullerton are of a similar caliber to the high-performing employees we have hired from other universities. In meeting with students at both schools, we saw that they were excited to work in a growing organization, which is a key factor to succeeding in our industry.”
Impact has a long history of partnering with regional universities to recruit and train talented, potential employees. Today, Impact employees over 550 employees in 17 locations throughout the Midwest and West Coast. Each year, roughly 50% of the incoming sales new hires come from university sales partnerships. Following these two new partnerships, Impact’s recruiting team is projected to further recruiting efforts on the West Coast with potential partnerships with California State University, Long Beach, and San Diego State University. Additionally, the team will be looking at expanding into the South Bend market of Indiana with a possible partnership with Indiana University Bloomington in Bloomington, IN.
