Impact Networking, LLC Announces Corporate Sponsorship for Local Indianapolis Non-profit Organization the Latino Community Development, LLC
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – July 28, 2015 – Impact Networking, LLC is proud to announce their corporate sponsorship of a local Indianapolis non-profit organization, the Latino Community Development, LLC, also known as LCD.
LCD is a 15-year old organization that became a 501(3)(c) non-profit in 2007. They provide underprivileged and Latino community members with tools, resources and opportunities to empower themselves. Fundraising events such as the Latino Swing Golf Classic and Indiana Fever Latino Night raise money to provide the growing community with resources for employment, health, financial assistance and guidance.
The majority of funds raised support the LCD’s major event, “Santa Comes to Town.” This holidaythemed health and wellness event provides free health and dental screenings to participants. Santa also attends the event and brings along gifts for each family. Over the years, LCD has raised enough money to provide 10,000 local families with Christmas gifts, food, clothing and medical services. Other services offered by LCD included health fairs, seminars and a mobile food pantry.
“It was obvious to us that this organization was one that we wanted to get involved with,” Impact General Manager and Partner, Chris Zvirbulis said. “This organization is unique because they supply those in need with resources, giving them the opportunity to succeed and flourish within the community.”
Zvirbulis was one of five elected onto LCD’s Board of Directors. Through this position, he is hoping to share his experience and expertise to help run the organization more efficiently, ultimately increasing organization funds.
“Impact is going to hit the ground running in getting involved with fundraising and event planning,” says Zvirbulis. “I am setting a lot of goals for the both the organization and myself to ensure growth for LCD and the community the organization serves. My main goal for this year is to raise enough money to help 1,500 families this year during the Santa Comes to Town event.”
