Chicago Tribune Names Impact Winner of Chicago Area 2018 Top Workplaces Award

LAKE FOREST, IL – Impact, a leading managed service provider, was named to the Chicago Tribune’s 2018 Top Workplaces list. Impact has made the Top Workplaces list seven years in a row, and was among the few companies in the mid-size category this year that have been awarded the Top Workplaces honor five or more times. This year, Impact ranked 2nd in the mid-size companies category.

“We are excited to receive this culture-focused award again this year. Our employees are by far our most valuable asset, so to know that we are among the top companies to work for in the Chicago area is an honor,” said Frank Cucco, CEO of Impact. “This award is a true testament to our efforts to continuously make Impact a great place for employees every day.”

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. This year 150 companies were recognized on the 2018 Top Workplaces list, categorized as small (249 or fewer employees), mid-sized (250-999 employees) and large companies (more than 1,000 employees).

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

Founded in 1999, Impact has experienced significant growth every year, expanding to 17 offices in four different states with more than 525 employees. As the company has grown, the employee benefits and company culture has remained. Top benefits include $500 employee referrals, a 401(k) matching program, bi-annual All Company Meetings, incentive trips and more.

In 2017, Impact was honored to be the #1 Top Workplace in the mid-size category.
