Recruiting efforts in Illinois continue to grow with new Athletics department partnerships.

Lake Forest, IL – The recruitment team at Impact announced today a new university partnership with North Central College in Naperville, IL. Being one of few companies to partner with the university’s Athletics department, this partnership will support Impact’s growing recruitment efforts in Illinois.

In 2019, Impact has continued to grow rapidly, adding more than 50 employees since the beginning of the year. To accommodate this growth and the need for new talent, the recruitment team at Impact tapped top employees to help with their efforts. Vinnie Sapienza, a high-performing Account Manager in Lake Forest, IL and former wrestler and alumni of North Central, introduced the recruitment team to the school. Now to fulfill the needs of the growing sales teams in Illinois, Impact has partnered with North Central College’s Athletics department, which will include exposure to the School of Business & Entrepreneurship. Impact will work with the university to recruit student athletes and business students for entry-level sales roles and entry-level technical roles in the Strategic Services and Managed IT departments.

“We are very excited to partner with North Central College, as one of the few companies sponsoring the university’s Athletics Department,” said Impact Director of Recruitment, Cynthia Bennett. “The 2018-2019 recruitment season was incredibly successful for Impact. As we move into the 2019-2020 season, it is important that we expand our university partnerships to meet the growing demand for entry-level roles. We have seen top talent come from North Central College and knew a partnership with the university would be a great fit.”

In addition to a presence at career fairs, the partnership between Impact and North Central College will include additional exposure to students through multiple activations. The Impact recruitment team will have the opportunity to do two classroom presentations with juniors and seniors in the School of Business & Entrepreneurship. These interactions in the classroom will create an intimate atmosphere for potential candidates that cannot be met at a career fair, while also enhancing the curriculum and providing valuable real-world business advice to students. Additional on-site opportunities will include an Impact-hosted resume workshop for student athletes once a trimester and a seat for an Impact representative to speak at the Cardinals to Careers Roundtable once a trimester.

The Impact recruitment team plans for expanded recruiting efforts in the Midwest, and will continue to hire new entry-level employees through the university partnerships.
