The Chicago Tribune Names Impact Networking #1 MidSize Company for The Chicago Top Workplaces 2019 Award
Lake Forest, IL, November 8th, 2019 – Impact Networking has been awarded #1 Midsize Company by The Chicago Tribune for the Top Workplaces 2019. Impact has been honored on the Top Workplaces list for the last eight years in a row ranking, ranking #1 in the midsize category in 2017 and 2015.
“We are honored to be named the #1 midsize workplace in Chicago by the Chicago Tribune. We hold this award in the highest regard, as it is a true testament to the culture that we built 20 years ago and has remained since,” said Frank Cucco, CEO of Impact Networking. “Impact would not be where we are today without our employees and we look forward to continuing to grow and provide the best possible work environment for our people.”
The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. This year 255 companies in Chicagoland were surveyed and 150 companies were recognized on the 2019 Top Workplaces list, categorized as small (249 or fewer employees), mid-sized (250-999 employees) and large companies (more than 1,000 employees).
“The Top Workplaces award is about much more than recognition and celebration,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “Our research also shows that these organizations achieve higher referral rates, lower employee turnover, and double the employee engagement levels. It just goes to show that being intentional about culture delivers bottom-line results.”
Founded in 1999, Impact has experienced significant growth every year, expanding to 17 offices in four different states with more than 700 employees nationwide. As the company has grown, the employee benefits and company culture has remained. Top benefits include $1,000 employee referrals, a student loan reimbursement plan, bi-annual All Company Meetings, incentive trips and more.
As noted in The Chicago Tribune, “At a time when large company gatherings have fallen out of fashion, Cucco said the company will continue to invest in these outings and its focus is on building a great company rather than generating a sizable profit.”
