Make an Impact Day 2021: Giving Back and Having Fun
On August 19th, 2022, Impact celebrated Make an Impact Day for the third time! It’s a company holiday dedicated to positively affecting our communities through donations, volunteering, and good deeds. See how employees take advantage of the holiday with our 2021 highlights here:
About Make an Impact Day
Make an Impact Day began in 2020 to give employees dedicated time to work with charitable institutions in their communities. While Impact works with a number of organizations at a high level, providing money, supplies, time, and expertise, it’s fulfilling for all employees to have a hand in doing good themselves.
For Make an Impact Day 2021, employees at our offices around the country coordinated with their colleagues to work in their own neighborhoods. Our largest company outing was in Illinois, where Impact staff members from several teams went to pack nutritious meals for people in need with Feed My Starving Children.
Impact in Our Communities
Impact believes in being an active part of the communities we live and work in. Operating in a city isn’t just about taking advantage of that market — it’s also about getting to know the people we live and work with, and doing what we can to help with the issues they care about.
Whether it’s giving money to institutions like the Jesse White Tumblers, providing tours for the Oakton College students, sponsoring events like the Festa Italiana, or simply helping feed our neighbors who need a little help, we’re proud that a central pillar of Impact’s culture is about giving back as often as possible.
