3 For 3 Video Series – Episode 4 – Tony Plana

Legendary sportscaster, Dick Stockton is joined once again by Impact’s Chief Diversity Officer, Bill Jacobs, in episode four of Impact’s 3 for 3 video series where we look at the journeys, careers, and achievements of 12 extraordinary people who’ve made history, broken down barriers, and continue to bring change to their communities.

Our guest for this episode is award-winning actor, Tony Plana, who has starred in world famous films, plays, and shows like Ugly Betty, An Officer and a Gentleman, Zoot Suit, Desperate Housewives, The Blacklist, and more.

Born in Havana, Plana moved to Miami, Florida in 1960 and then to Los Angeles as an older child. In LA, he got his first glimpse of movie making and the entertainment industry, peeking through the gates of MGM Studios where, 30 years later, he would be working on a major motion picture opposite Anthony Hopkins.

Tony also has experience on the state, originating the role of Luis Valdez in the Los Angeles production of Zoo Suit.
