Being a woman, I think International Women’s Day is really important, and it should be important to both females and males. Because a long time ago women weren’t really seen as being the breadwinner, so the person that goes to work, and I feel really empowered by working at Impact because I have all of the same ability and I can do just as much as a male here.

International Women’s Day means a lot to me, having been involved in a really male-dominated industry for many, many years. I really came up before that kind of acknowledgement was there. I think, especially today, that I’m being able to celebrate women just not, you know, not only in technology where I worked, but generally is important, and I appreciate it.

International Women’s Day to me means empowering other women to feel comfortable and safe to go into any career field that they feel comfortable doing.

I feel empowered at Impact because since the beginning I feel very welcome, everyone was very friendly, my team was supportive, or partners have been supportive. I also believe that they provide the same opportunities, no matter who you are, as long as you’re, like, excited to come to work and love what you do and are motivated.

I feel empowered at Impact through all of the wonderful women in leadership at the company. I think it inspires me day-to-day to really strive to be like them and to be a woman in leadership here.
