What Does Black History Mean to You? | Impact Voices
“Black history means freedom. It’s the freedom to revisit our ancestors and their great contributions.” – Abraham Aseme, Field Network Engineer at Impact.
In this video, Impact employees shared their insights when reflecting on Black History Month. Each of their voices resonates with what we want to accomplish and advocate for as a company and as people in 2023.
During this event, we would like to recognize all of the contributions and sacrifices made by Black and African American people in this country. As a company, we discussed what Black history means to each of us and how we are inspired to be better and work as one team every day.
Why Celebrating Black History Month is Important For Us
At Impact, we recognize that our employees come from different backgrounds and have varied viewpoints. Inclusion and diversity contribute to our company culture; thus, we work to create initiatives such as this one to celebrate Black history, acknowledge the work of our Black colleagues, and continue to learn from one another.
